The article presents Zygmunt Kozłowski, a painter specializing in watercolors, an architect and engineer; unknown in Poland. He spent most of his life in the United States of America, Canada and Argentina. This article is confined to his painting only. After graduating from the prestigious Watercolor School in Goose Rocks, USA (under the supervision of Eliot O’Hara) he studied at The Banff School of Fine Arts in Canada, then he took professional courses in this field and focused on the Direct American Technique. After this he devoted his attention to landscape painting, still life, and floral motifs. When he settled in Argentina, he not only continued painting but also disseminated watercolour painting according to the American direct technique. He entered the history of Argentine and world painting as an artist who was one of the first to experiment with painting in the dimension of time (en dimension tiempo). This was accompanied by his activity regarding philosophical reflections related to futurology and theology, which was reflected in the paintings he created. The article includes an overview of his exhibition activities and as well as being an attempt to collect his rich painting achievements.
