Summary: The Battle of Raszyn, where the Polish Army led by the Commander-in-Chief, Prince Józef Poniatowski, resisted the overwhelming Austrian forces, became a source of inspiration for many painters and illustrators. They tried to portray the battle in their numerous works. Among the creators were such outstanding painters as Wojciech Kossak, Aleksander Orłowski, Juliusz Kossak. Unfortunately, the authors did not avoid numerous factual errors.
